Best of the best

I am trying to create a list that will be useful to educators all over the country. Please list any great educators that consistently provide valuable information to be used in the elementary classroom and feel free to comment on why you feel that they are so great. Many teachers feel as I did just a couple of weeks ago- that Twitter is useless. I have been proven wrong and I would like to share this information with as many teachers as I can. Thank you for your help!

Still tweeting

Well I am still tweeting and I have proved myself wrong. I believed I would become extremely board with hearing about people burning toast or getting a glass of water- but as I found out- it is all in who you follow. There are many valuable sources that can be found on twitter. Instead of reading about small boring details, I am clicking on websites with tons of information that can be useful in the classroom. My new goal is to gather as many useful people as I can to help me become a better educator. Eventually I would like to create a blog to send out to help me really deal with difficult situations that may arise in the future. For now I will continue to tweet and blog (even though I am the only one following myself- on the blog that is. On twitter I am up to 12 followers :) Yeah

Monday, March 1, 2010

Well I have made a total of 5 tweets :) Yeah for me! Unfortunately I still believe that no one cares when I am going to eat ice cream straight out of the container at 10:00 p.m. while watching Desperate Housewives! Guess I'll have to stick to following people who know what they are talking about!

Learning how to Tweet and failing :(

I self-diagnosed myself with ADHD. You would think that Twitter would be perfect for me. Wrong! There is too much stuff going on at once. Too many opinions- which if I don't agree with one- then I don't usually want to read the rest.
Oh well- I'll keep trying.
